• ‘Hot women' may be hard to find on World Cup broadcasts

    FIFA wants its broadcasters to stick to soccer. According to the BBC, the governing body would like broadcasts to stop highlighting “hot women” during the World Cup. Anti-discrimination group Fare Network says sexism has been the biggest problem at the tournament, with more than 30 cases documented. “We've done it with individual broadcasters,” Federico Addiechi, FIFA's diversity boss said of the initiative. “We've done it with our host broadcast services.” However, Addiechi has said there is no “proactive campaign” in place yet.
