    The Nuggets are acquiring French center Ismael Kamagate , the 46th pick of the 2022 NBA draft, from the Trail Blazers in exchange for 2024 second-round pick, sources tell Mike Singer of The Denver Post. Portland acquired the 46th pick from Detroit as part of the impending Jerami Grant trade.
    In 34 appearances for Paris Basketball of the LNB Pro A league this season, Kamagate averaged 11.3 PPG, 6.3 RPG and 1.6 BPG while shooting 64.3% from the floor and 65.4% from the free throw line.

    Mathurin, a 20-year-old from Montreal who starred at the University of Arizona, was selected sixth by the Indiana Pacers. Moments later the Blazers took a chance on Sharpe, a 19-year-old from London, Ont., who didn't play a single college game, with the seventh pick.

    The Portland Trail Blazers have selected Canadian Shaedon Sharpe seventhoverall in Thursday's NBA Draft.
    The six-foot-five swingman from London, Ont., was considered the draft's mystery man, having not played competitive basketball in more than a year.
    Sharpe registered at Kentucky for the second semester of the 2021-22 year, but did not play.
    He was the No. 1 high school player in his class after putting up 22.6 points, 5.8 rebounds and 2.7 assists in 12 EYBL club games.
    Sharpe also has national team experience, helping Canada win silver at the 2019 FIBA Under-16 Americas Championship.
