    Chris Sale has had a solid 2018 season so far, and the Boston Red Sox have to be pleased with how their ace has been throwing the ball of late especially.
    The left-hander's velocity had dipped to begin the season, but Sale has ramped up his fastball to the normal 95-97-mph range in his past two starts.

    The Boston Red Sox will begin a four-game series with the American League West-leading Seattle Mariners on Thursday at Safeco Field, a place that has a special place in one Red Sox outfielder's heart.
    Andrew Benintendi made his Major League Baseball debut in Seattle on Aug. 2, 2016, going 0-for-2 with a strikeout in the Red Sox's 5-4 loss.
    Benintendi has enjoyed moderate success in his brief career at Safeco Field, hitting .278 in five career games in the Pacific Northwest.
